What would it feel like to stand up with confidence – no props necessary – and consistently deliver your message clearly and with impact whether your audience is 1, 100, or 1000? As a theatre director I have first-hand experience of professional performers under pressure. I help them deal with this pressure, guiding them through various techniques and disciplines, to ensure that it does not inhibit their performance. Professional performers have ‘emotional presence’. They have the proven ability to inspire, excite, entertain, educate or move us. You too can learn these skills and put them to work in your every day business life when you need to perform at your best in front of others. What you will learn through working with me
Tricks of the trade These relaxed workshops and coaching sessions also contain a selection of professional insights to help with the technical processes of correct breathing, voice production and projection, importance of relaxed vocal area, transference of tension, and diction. However, knowing about these “tricks of the trade” is not enough. Why improving your mental approach is key It is essential to have the right mental attitude and focus, and we combine the processes of ‘practical application’ and ‘the psychology of performing’ to guarantee that your specific needs are met. I am not out to turn you into an actor, but having an understanding of certain theatre principles and techniques will make an instant difference to the way you think, will help you overcome your fears, and will enable you to deliver your message efficiently, very effectively, and with maximum impact. “Even the boring bits were interesting.” Mark Waters, Cornhill Insurance |
